| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Camillus | ||||||
| 4 | Joachim Wurtz of Pocahontas, Arkansas, who passed away on April | ||||||
| 5 | 14, 2013; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, Camillus Wurtz was born on August 16, 1921, in | ||||||
| 7 | Pocahontas, Arkansas; his parents were Peter A. and Mary T. | ||||||
| 8 | Wurtz; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Camillus Wurtz served in the United States Army | ||||||
| 10 | Air Forces during World War II; he earned 4 Bronze Stars for | ||||||
| 11 | his meritorious service; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Camillus Wurtz retired from his business, | ||||||
| 13 | Builders Plumbing and Heating, in 1982, after many years of | ||||||
| 14 | dedicated service to his community; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Camillus Wurtz was preceded in death by his loving | ||||||
| 16 | wife of 63 years, Esther; his parents; his brothers, Zeno and | ||||||
| 17 | Sylvan; and his sisters, Juanita, Rosemary, and Beatrice; and
| ||||||
| 18 | WHEREAS, Camillus Wurtz is survived by his sons Sid (Rita) | ||||||
| 19 | Wurtz and Ron (Judy) Wurtz; his daughters, Camille (Joe) Myers | ||||||
| 20 | and Juanita (Joe) Cofer; his 7 grandchildren; his 6 | ||||||

| 1 | great-grandchildren; and his sister, Joanne DeGregorio; | ||||||
| 2 | therefore, be it

| 3 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 4 | NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 5 | we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of | ||||||
| 6 | Camillus Joachim Wurtz; and be it further
| ||||||
| 7 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 8 | presented to the family of Camillus Wurtz as an expression of | ||||||
| 9 | our sympathy.
