| 2 | WHEREAS, Etta Mae Credi began her career with the Illinois | ||||||
| 3 | Department of Insurance on February 23, 1954, as a Clerk Steno | ||||||
| 4 | I in the Property and Liability Division, making $225 a month; | ||||||
| 5 | and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, In 1981, Mrs. Credi was made a Department of | ||||||
| 7 | Insurance Unit Supervisor and was eventually promoted to | ||||||
| 8 | Assistant Deputy Director in 1990; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Mrs. Credi has worked with ten Governors and | ||||||
| 10 | twenty-three Insurance Directors; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Mrs. Credi has been an integral participant in the | ||||||
| 12 | National Association of Insurance Commissioners and is | ||||||
| 13 | nationally regarded for her skill and keen insight; and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, Mrs. Credi works tirelessly on behalf of insurance | ||||||
| 15 | consumers in Illinois and around the United States; and
| ||||||
| 16 | WHEREAS, Mrs. Credi has a remarkable knowledge and | ||||||
| 17 | understanding of the Department of Insurance and its history, | ||||||
| 18 | operations, and regulations; and
| ||||||
| 19 | WHEREAS, Mrs. Credi's dedication and loyalty to the | ||||||

| 1 | Department of Insurance have made her a role mode for her | ||||||
| 2 | co-workers, friends, and family; and
| ||||||
| 3 | WHEREAS, Mrs. Credi is not only a dedicated Department of | ||||||
| 4 | Insurance employee, but also a friend, a leader, and an | ||||||
| 5 | inspiration to those who work with her; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 6 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 7 | NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 8 | we thank Etta Mae Credi for her 57 years of service to the | ||||||
| 9 | people of the State of Illinois and wish her continued success | ||||||
| 10 | and happiness in the future; and be it further
| ||||||
| 11 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 12 | presented to Etta Mae Credi as a symbol of our respect and | ||||||
| 13 | esteem.
