| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Elizabeth | ||||||
| 4 | Chante' McGee, who passed away on March 20, 2013; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Elizabeth Chante' McGee was born on February 14, | ||||||
| 6 | 1967; her parents were Tessola Bridges and Pemington McGee; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Elizabeth McGee attended Riis Elementary School; | ||||||
| 8 | she later attended Creiger Vocational High School, where she | ||||||
| 9 | graduated with the class of 1985; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Elizabeth McGee gave her life to Christ at an | ||||||
| 11 | early age; she later joined No Limit Christian Ministries under | ||||||
| 12 | the leadership of Rev. Joe Jackson, where she rededicated her | ||||||
| 13 | life; in 2010, she joined Predestined Ministries under the | ||||||
| 14 | leadership of Pastor Koryell D. Tate, where she served as a | ||||||
| 15 | faithful member until Pastor Tate saw something special in her | ||||||
| 16 | and, in 2011, she was crowned as the missionary of the church; | ||||||
| 17 | and

| 18 | WHEREAS, Elizabeth McGee is survived by her parents; her | ||||||
| 19 | children, Chakita, Robert, Rashay, Anthony, Avonte', Silvana, | ||||||
| 20 | and Shawnteria; her grandchildren, Chakia, Cornelius, E'mia, | ||||||
| 21 | Marshune, David, Kayla, Reniyah, and Maliyah; her sister, | ||||||
| |||||||
| |||||||
| 1 | Patricia Brodie; her brothers, Ken and Matthew; her special | ||||||
| 2 | sisters, Tangeria, Tracy, and Mechele; her godchildren, | ||||||
| 3 | Charlotte, Jerrell, Wooga, and Nikki; her special cousin, Mike | ||||||
| 4 | Tate; and her many other special friends and family members; | ||||||
| 5 | therefore, be it

| 6 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 7 | NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 8 | we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of | ||||||
| 9 | Elizabeth Chante' McGee; and be it further
| ||||||
| 10 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 11 | presented to the family of Elizabeth McGee as an expression of | ||||||
| 12 | our sympathy.
