HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of J. Glenn
4Schneider of Naperville, who passed away on February 13, 2017;
5and
6 WHEREAS, Glenn Schneider was born in Chicago to John and
7Emily (Fehlberg) Schneider on September 30, 1935; he served in
8the United States Air Force and met his wife-to-be, Kathy, in
91982; and
10 WHEREAS, Glenn Schneider taught at Naperville North High
11School for 32 years; he served as a State Representative for 12
12years, a Naperville City Councilman, and a lobbyist; he worked
13with both Democrats and Republicans and attended a state
14Constitutional Convention; and
15 WHEREAS, Glenn Schneider enjoyed the theater, music,
16sports, reading, having coffee, traveling, and attending
17family events; and
18 WHEREAS, Glenn Schneider was preceded in death by his
19parents; his stepmother, Margaret Killeen; his brothers,
20William and James (Judy) Schneider; and his sister, Elloise
21(Edwin) McKee; and

1 WHEREAS, Glenn Schneider is survived by his wife, Kathleen
2(Ristow) Schneider; his daughter, Jill (Pete) Beronio; his son,
3John Schneider; his grandchildren, Alex and Nicholas Beronio,
4and Brianna Schneider; his sister-in-law, Dolores Schneider;
5and his nieces, nephews, and friends; therefore, be it
6 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
7HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
8mourn the passing of J. Glenn Schneider, and extend our sincere
9condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved
10him; and be it further
11 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Glenn Schneider as an expression of
13our deepest sympathy.
