| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of J. Glenn | ||||||
| 4 | Schneider of Naperville, who passed away on February 13, 2017; | ||||||
| 5 | and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, Glenn Schneider was born in Chicago to John and | ||||||
| 7 | Emily (Fehlberg) Schneider on September 30, 1935; he served in | ||||||
| 8 | the United States Air Force and met his wife-to-be, Kathy, in | ||||||
| 9 | 1982; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Glenn Schneider taught at Naperville North High | ||||||
| 11 | School for 32 years; he served as a State Representative for 12 | ||||||
| 12 | years, a Naperville City Councilman, and a lobbyist; he worked | ||||||
| 13 | with both Democrats and Republicans and attended a state | ||||||
| 14 | Constitutional Convention; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Glenn Schneider enjoyed the theater, music, | ||||||
| 16 | sports, reading, having coffee, traveling, and attending | ||||||
| 17 | family events; and
| ||||||
| 18 | WHEREAS, Glenn Schneider was preceded in death by his | ||||||
| 19 | parents; his stepmother, Margaret Killeen; his brothers, | ||||||
| 20 | William and James (Judy) Schneider; and his sister, Elloise | ||||||
| 21 | (Edwin) McKee; and
| ||||||

| 1 | WHEREAS, Glenn Schneider is survived by his wife, Kathleen | ||||||
| 2 | (Ristow) Schneider; his daughter, Jill (Pete) Beronio; his son, | ||||||
| 3 | John Schneider; his grandchildren, Alex and Nicholas Beronio, | ||||||
| 4 | and Brianna Schneider; his sister-in-law, Dolores Schneider; | ||||||
| 5 | and his nieces, nephews, and friends; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 6 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||
| 7 | HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | ||||||
| 8 | mourn the passing of J. Glenn Schneider, and extend our sincere | ||||||
| 9 | condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved | ||||||
| 10 | him; and be it further
| ||||||
| 11 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
