2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
3 | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Inez | ||||||
4 | Anderson-Washington who passed away on February 19, 2021; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Inez Anderson-Washington was born to James and | ||||||
6 | Lula Anderson in Coater, Missouri on April 28, 1929; she later | ||||||
7 | moved to Arkansas, where she went to grammar school, and then | ||||||
8 | moved to Marshall, Missouri, where she attended Banner High | ||||||
9 | School; she married Robert Clark Washington, and the couple | ||||||
10 | eventually moved to Chicago; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Inez Anderson-Washington worked at ABC Foods in | ||||||
12 | Chicago for 19 years and Bethel Life for nine years; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, After retiring, Inez Anderson-Washington | ||||||
14 | volunteered at an early childhood development program in | ||||||
15 | Maywood; she loved her family and was always willing to lend a | ||||||
16 | hand, no matter the task; and
| ||||||
17 | WHEREAS, Inez Anderson-Washington was preceded in death by | ||||||
18 | her three children, Donald Clark, Charles Edwards, and | ||||||
19 | Loualice; and
| ||||||
20 | WHEREAS, Inez Anderson-Washington is survived by her two |

| |||||||
1 | daughters, Princella, and Darlene; her 13 grandchildren; her | ||||||
2 | 23 great-grandchildren; her 8 great-great-grandchildren; her | ||||||
3 | nieces and nephews; and her friends; therefore, be it
| ||||||
4 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||
5 | HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
6 | we mourn the passing of Inez Anderson-Washington and extend | ||||||
7 | our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who | ||||||
8 | knew and loved her; and be it further
| ||||||
9 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
10 | presented to the family of Inez Anderson-Washington as an | ||||||
11 | expression of our deepest sympathy.
