| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives wish to congratulate Delaney Hall of Lebanon on | ||||||
| 4 | being named
one of the top two youth volunteers in Illinois for | ||||||
| 5 | 2019 as part of the 24th annual Prudential Spirit of Community
| ||||||
| 6 | Awards; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Delaney Hall will receive a $1,000 award, an | ||||||
| 8 | engraved silver medallion, and a trip to
Washington, D.C. on | ||||||
| 9 | May 4-7 for a series of national recognition events; over | ||||||
| 10 | 29,000 young people across the country participated in this
| ||||||
| 11 | year's program; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards were | ||||||
| 13 | created in 1995 by Prudential Financial in partnership with the
| ||||||
| 14 | National Association of Secondary School Principals and are | ||||||
| 15 | designed to emphasize the importance our
nation places on | ||||||
| 16 | service to others and to encourage all young Americans to | ||||||
| 17 | contribute to their communities; and
| ||||||
| 18 | WHEREAS, Delaney Hall represents the best of America's | ||||||
| 19 | youth and is a role model to her peers and her community; | ||||||
| 20 | therefore, be it

| 21 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||

| 1 | HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 2 | we congratulate Delaney Hall on being named
one of the top two | ||||||

| 4 | in all her future endeavors; and be it further
