2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
3 | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Chester | ||||||
4 | R. "Chet" Albright of Aurora, who passed away on February 6, | ||||||
5 | 2017; and
| ||||||
6 | WHEREAS, Chester Albright was born in Aurora to Chester A. | ||||||
7 | and Elsie (Stadler) Albright on May 4, 1939; he graduated from | ||||||
8 | Mooseheart High School in 1957 and served in the United States | ||||||
9 | Army; he married Judith Wendell on March 25, 1961; and
| ||||||
10 | WHEREAS, Chester Albright was the owner and operator of the | ||||||
11 | Northgate Barber Shop for nearly 25 years; he served as Sixth | ||||||
12 | Ward Alderman for the City of Aurora from 1977 to 1985; he | ||||||
13 | later served Moose International as a Director of Ritual and | ||||||
14 | Sports and Supreme Secretary; he received the Pilgrim Degree of | ||||||
15 | Merit; he retired in 2004, but remained active with the | ||||||
16 | organization; in retirement, he began working part-time at the | ||||||
17 | Dieterle Memorial Home, where he greeted many guests through | ||||||
18 | the years and offered much comfort to grieving families; and
| ||||||
19 | WHEREAS, Chester Albright was a longtime member of Genesis | ||||||
20 | Community Church, serving in many capacities; he was also a | ||||||
21 | member of Batavia Moose Lodge #682 and the Aurora Rotary Club; | ||||||
22 | he enjoyed fishing and attending his grandchildren's sporting |

2 | WHEREAS, Chester Albright was preceded in death by his | ||||||
3 | parents, Chester and Elsie Albright, and Vesta Albright; his | ||||||
4 | sisters, Carol Blake, and Peggy Lynn in infancy; and his | ||||||
5 | brother-in-law, Dick Forsell; and
| ||||||
6 | WHEREAS, Chester Albright is survived by his wife of 55 | ||||||
7 | years, Judy; his children, Dean (Debbi) Albright, and Patricia | ||||||
8 | (Ken) Edwards; his grandchildren, James and Mitch Edwards, and | ||||||
9 | Samantha Albright; his siblings, Nancy Forsell, Robert | ||||||
10 | (Paulette) Albright, Joy (John) Nemanich, Rick (RoseAnne) | ||||||
11 | Albright, and Jack (Sherry) Albright; his brothers-in-law, Bob | ||||||
12 | (Georgiann) Blake, and David Wendell; and by numerous nieces, | ||||||
13 | nephews, and friends; therefore, be it

14 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||
15 | HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | ||||||
16 | mourn the passing of Chester R. "Chet" Albright, and extend our | ||||||
17 | sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew | ||||||
18 | and loved him; and be it further

19 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
20 | presented to the family of Chester Albright as an expression of | ||||||
21 | our deepest sympathy.
