| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives are pleased to congratulate Theodora "Teddy" | ||||||
| 4 | Trombino of Waukegan on her 100th birthday, March 7, 2011; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, She was born on March 7, 1911 in Kenosha, | ||||||
| 6 | Wisconsin; she graduated from high school in 1929; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, She met Robert Trombino, Sr. at a dance in Gurnee; | ||||||
| 8 | after dating for a year and a half, they were married in | ||||||
| 9 | Chicago on November 29, 1930; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, They opened Lake County Office Equipment in 1945; | ||||||
| 11 | the company is still serving the office needs of the Waukegan | ||||||
| 12 | area today and is run by the third generation of the family | ||||||
| 13 | under the name of Office Plus of Lake County; and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, Theodora and Robert were married for 63 years and | ||||||
| 15 | were the proud parents of James and Robert Trombino, Jr.; | ||||||
| 16 | therefore, be it

| 17 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 18 | NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 19 | we congratulate Theodora Trombino on her 100th birthday and | ||||||
| 20 | wish her all the best in health and happiness; and be it | ||||||
