| 1 | HOUSE RESOLUTION
| ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, The citizens of Illinois are continually taxed | ||||||
| 3 | more and more each year; and
| ||||||
| 4 | WHEREAS, These taxes make Illinois inhospitable to both | ||||||
| 5 | citizens and businesses alike; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, Citizens who cannot afford new cars also cannot | ||||||
| 7 | afford the increased expense of
a sales tax on car repair labor | ||||||
| 8 | on top of the already high cost of living; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 9 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||
| 10 | HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 11 | we are opposed to the implementation of any sales tax on car | ||||||
| 12 | repair labor in 2019 and beyond; and be it further
| ||||||
| 13 | RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be | ||||||
| 14 | delivered to each member of the Illinois
General Assembly.
