| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives are pleased to
congratulate Plainfield Central | ||||||
| 4 | High School senior Jordan Ellingwood on the occasion of placing
| ||||||
| 5 | second in the Class 3A 195-pound IHSA State Wrestling | ||||||
| 6 | Championship; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Last year, Jordan Ellingwood finished third in the | ||||||
| 8 | 182-pound division at the State
Championship; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Jordan Ellingwood is known for his all business, | ||||||
| 10 | tough-as-nails approach to
wrestling; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Jordan Ellingwood entered the preliminary round | ||||||
| 12 | with a 43-0 record and
dominated in his first 3 matches at | ||||||
| 13 | State before the extremely physical 2-1 tiebreaking
| ||||||
| 14 | championship match; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Jordan Ellingwood finished his wrestling season | ||||||
| 16 | with a record of 46-1; and
| ||||||
| 17 | WHEREAS, Jordan Ellingwood is also recognized for his | ||||||
| 18 | skills as a running back for the
Plainfield Central football | ||||||
| 19 | team; therefore, be it

Ellingwood on placing second in IHSA | ||||||
