| 1 | HOUSE RESOLUTION
| ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, Local communities are facing a budget crisis for | ||||||
| 3 | critical services; and
| ||||||
| 4 | WHEREAS, The Illinois Emergency Management Agency | ||||||
| 5 | determines the amount of funding available for the Emergency | ||||||
| 6 | Management Agency grant program prior to the award of any | ||||||
| 7 | grants, based on the level of funding provided by the Federal | ||||||
| 8 | Emergency Management Agency; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Some local communities receive very little | ||||||
| 10 | compensation from this grant; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 11 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 12 | NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 13 | the Illinois Emergency Management Agency examine the way it | ||||||
| 14 | distributes these funds to insure equitable distribution of the | ||||||
| 15 | funds; and be it further

| 16 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 17 | presented to the Illinois Emergency Management Agency.
