| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of
Deanna | ||||||
| 4 | Rivers Green, who passed away on February 13, 2011; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Deanna Green was born and raised in the south | ||||||
| 6 | suburbs and attended Homewood Flossmoor High School; she | ||||||
| 7 | accepted Christ at an early age; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Deanna Green had a passion for helping people that | ||||||
| 9 | was demonstrated through her career as a registered nurse; she | ||||||
| 10 | served as the Director at Manor Care Health Services in | ||||||
| 11 | Homewood; she also worked for a former U.S. Congressman and was | ||||||
| 12 | an important part of the success of many State and local | ||||||
| 13 | officials; and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, Deanna Green was a member of St. Paul Community | ||||||
| 15 | Church; and
| ||||||
| 16 | WHEREAS, Deanna Green was the beloved wife of Shannon | ||||||
| 17 | Green; together, the couple had four children, Danielle, | ||||||
| 18 | John-Michael, Shannon Jr., and Shane; she is also survived by | ||||||
| 19 | her parents and her grandmother, Minerva Rivers; therefore, be | ||||||
| 20 | it

| 1 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 2 | NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 3 | we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of | ||||||
| 4 | Deanna Rivers Green; and be it further
| ||||||
| 5 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 6 | presented to the family of Deanna Green as an expression of our | ||||||
| 7 | sympathy.
