| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives wish to congratulate Maria Delgado on being a | ||||||
| 4 | finalist for the hotel industry's "Stars of the Industry | ||||||
| 5 | Award"; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, Maria Delgado is a room attendant at the Hyatt | ||||||
| 7 | Regency O'Hare in Rosemont and
was a finalist in the North Star | ||||||
| 8 | Award
category at the American Hotel & Lodging
Association's | ||||||
| 9 | Stars of the Industry Awards on January 27, 2019; she was one | ||||||
| 10 | of the top three finalists to be recognized from over 300 | ||||||
| 11 | nominations from all sections of the industry and across the | ||||||
| 12 | country; the award is given to a non-management level associate | ||||||
| 13 | who makes a
significant difference day in and day out in the | ||||||
| 14 | hospitality business; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Prior to her recent honor, Maria Delgado received | ||||||
| 16 | the 2017 Illinois Housekeeping
Employee of the Year at the | ||||||
| 17 | Illinois Hotel & Lodging Association Stars of the Industry | ||||||
| 18 | State Awards in December
2017; and
| ||||||
| 19 | WHEREAS, Maria Delgado has an impeccable work ethic and | ||||||
| 20 | treats her hotel as her home and coworkers
as her family; she | ||||||
| 21 | has not missed a day of work in her 32 years of
employment with | ||||||
| 22 | Hyatt and is truly the heart of Hyatt; therefore, be it

| 1 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||
| 2 | HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 3 | we congratulate Maria Delgado of Chicago on being a finalist | ||||||
| 4 | for the hotel industry's "Stars of the Industry Award", and we | ||||||
| 5 | wish her many more successful years; and be it further
| ||||||
| 6 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
