AN ACT concerning State government.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Personnel Code is amended by adding Section
2.5 as follows:
(20 ILCS 415/2.5 new)
Sec. 2.5. Transfer of hiring functions. Notwithstanding
any other provision of law, all duties and functions pertaining
to hiring under this Code are transferred to the departments,
boards, and commissions subject to the provisions of this Code.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1,
2015.
