Bill Title: Creates the Plant Advertising Act. Provides that nurseries in this State shall not advertise plants as "bee-friendly" if a systemic insecticide has been used on the plants. Provides that "nursery" has the meaning ascribed to that term in the Insect Pest and Plant Disease Act.

AN ACT concerning agriculture.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the Plant
Advertising Act.
Section 5. Prohibited advertising. Nurseries in this State
shall not advertise plants as "bee-friendly" if a systemic
insecticide has been used on the plants. As used in this Act,
"nursery" has the meaning ascribed to that term in the Insect
Pest and Plant Disease Act.
