Bill Title: Amends the General Assembly Operations Act. On and after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 99th General Assembly, the General Assembly shall, by joint resolution, establish a revenue estimate for the following State fiscal year by April 30th of each year. Effective immediately.

AN ACT concerning State government.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The General Assembly Operations Act is amended
by adding Section 8 as follows:
(25 ILCS 10/8 new)
Sec. 8. Revenue estimate. On and after the effective date
of this amendatory Act of the 99th General Assembly, the
General Assembly shall, by joint resolution, establish a
revenue estimate for the following State fiscal year by April
30th of each year.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
becoming law.
