Amends the Probation and Probation Officers Act. Provides that the appointment of officers to full-time, non-clerical positions at juvenile detention centers shall be in accordance with the Act.

2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Probation and Probation Officers Act is
5amended by changing Section 13a as follows:
6 (730 ILCS 110/13a) (from Ch. 38, par. 204-5a)
7 Sec. 13a. The appointment of officers to probation or court
8services departments under the Juvenile Court Act of 1987 or to
9full-time, non-clerical positions at juvenile detention
10centers shall be in accordance with the provisions of this Act.
