1 AN ACT concerning regulation.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Automated Teller Machine Security Act is
5amended by changing Section 25 as follows:
6 (205 ILCS 695/25)
7 Sec. 25. Terminals to which Act not applicable. This Act
8does not apply to any automated teller machine that that:
9 (1) is located inside a building, unless it is a
10freestanding installation that exists for the sole purpose of
11providing an enclosure for the automated teller machine;
12 (2) is located inside a building, except to the extent a
13transaction can be conducted from outside the building; or
14 (3) is located in any area, including any access area,
15building, enclosed space, or parking area, that is not
16controlled by the operator.
