Bill Title: Amends the State Budget Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that any amendment to a budget implementation bill or to an omnibus appropriations bill must be reported to the applicable appropriations committee of each chamber of the General Assembly at least 2 business days before being heard in any committee. Effective immediately.

Amends the State Budget Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. AN ACT concerning State government.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The State Budget Law of the Civil
Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by adding Section
50-37 as follows:
(15 ILCS 20/50-37 new)
Sec. 50-37. Additions to budget implementation bill or
omnibus bill. Any amendment to a budget implementation bill or
to an omnibus appropriations bill must be reported to the
applicable appropriations committee of each chamber of the
General Assembly at least 2 business days before being heard
in any committee.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
becoming law.
