Bill Title: Amends the Firearm Dealer License Certification Act. Provides that the provisions of the Act concerning the certification of the license of a federal firearms licensee only apply to a federal firearms licensee who has been found by the federal or State government to have 3 or more firearms used in the commission of criminal offenses sold or transferred by the licensee within the 5 years prior to his or her application for certification of his or her license.

AN ACT concerning safety.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Firearm Dealer License Certification Act is
amended by adding Section 5-6 as follows:

Sec. 5-6. Certification of license of federal firearms
dealer; applicability. The provisions of this Act concerning
the certification of the license of a federal firearms licensee
only apply to a federal firearms licensee who has been found by
the federal or State government to have 3 or more firearms used
in the commission of criminal offenses sold or transferred by
the licensee within the 5 years prior to his or her application
for certification of his or her license.
