| 1 | AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4860

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4860 by replacing | ||||||
| 3 | everything after the enacting clause with the following:

| 4 | "Section 5. The Cycle Rider Safety Training Act is amended | ||||||
| 5 | by adding Section 8 as follows:

| 6 | (625 ILCS 35/8 new) | ||||||
| 7 | Sec. 8. Exemption from liability. An owner of land who | ||||||
| 8 | authorizes his or her property to be used for an approved Cycle | ||||||
| 9 | Rider Safety Training Course as defined by Section 2.03 of this | ||||||
| 10 | Act shall not be held civilly liable for any injury or death to | ||||||
| 11 | persons or damage to property that may occur during the | ||||||
| 12 | instruction course or training.".
