1 AN ACT concerning appropriations.

2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

3 represented in the General Assembly:

4 Section 5. The amount of $5,000,000, or so much of that

5 amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General

6 Revenue Fund to the Department of Healthcare and Family

7 Services for the purposes of implementing and administering

8 the Lead-Safe Water for Families Act.

9 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1,
