AN ACT concerning transportation.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by changing
Section 15-103 as follows:
(625 ILCS 5/15-103) (from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 15-103)
Sec. 15-103. Height of vehicles. The height of a vehicle
from the under side of the tire to the top of the vehicle,
inclusive of load, shall not exceed 13 feet, 6 inches on any
highway in the State except that vehicles designed to transport
multiple motor vehicles shall not exceed 14 feet on any highway
in the State.
A person convicted of violating this Section is subject to
the penalty provided in paragraph (b) of Section 15-113.
