1 AN ACT concerning transportation.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by changing
5Section 15-103 as follows:
6 (625 ILCS 5/15-103) (from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 15-103)
7 Sec. 15-103. Height of vehicles. The height of a vehicle
8from the under side of the tire to the top of the vehicle,
9inclusive of load, shall not exceed 13 feet, 6 inches on any
10highway in the State except that vehicles designed to transport
11multiple motor vehicles shall not exceed 14 feet on any highway
12in the State.
13 A person convicted of violating this Section is subject to
14the penalty provided in paragraph (b) of Section 15-113.
