Appropriates $25,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Secure Elections Infrastructure Fund. Effective July 1, 2026.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $25,000,000, or so much of that sum
as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
Fund to the Secure Elections Infrastructure Fund for the
purpose of making security and accessibility upgrades in
specified voting districts in accordance with Section 1A-70 of
the Election Code.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1,
2026.
