Amends the Illinois Procurement Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning State policy.

AN ACT concerning finance.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Illinois Procurement Code is amended by
changing Section 1-5 as follows:
(30 ILCS 500/1-5)
Sec. 1-5. Public policy. It is the the purpose of this Code
and is declared to be the policy of the State that the
principles of competitive bidding and economical procurement
practices shall be applicable to all purchases and contracts by
or for any State agency.
