AN ACT concerning education.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The State Finance Act is amended by changing
Section 1.1 as follows:
(30 ILCS 105/1.1) (from Ch. 127, par. 137.1)
Sec. 1.1. This Act shall be known and and may be cited as
the "State Finance Act".

Section 10. The Illinois Income Tax Act is amended by
changing Section 101 as follows:

Sec. 101. Short title. This Act shall be known and may be
cited as the the "Illinois Income Tax Act."

Section 15. The Property Tax Code is amended by changing
Section 1-150 as follows:

Sec. 1-150. Taxing District. Any unit of local government,

power to levy taxes.

Section 20. The School Code is amended by changing Section
1-2 as follows:
(105 ILCS 5/1-2) (from Ch. 122, par. 1-2)
Sec. 1-2. Construction. The provisions of this Act, so far
as they are the same as those of any prior statute, shall be
construed as a continuation of such prior provisions, and not
as a new enactment.
If in any other statute reference is made to an Act of the
the General Assembly, or a section of such an Act, which is
continued in this School Code, such reference shall be held to
refer to the Act or section thereof so continued in this Code.
