625 ILCS 5/3-814.5 new

1 AN ACT concerning transportation.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by adding
5Section 3-814.5 as follows:
6 (625 ILCS 5/3-814.5 new)
7 Sec. 3-814.5. Boat trailer registration. Except as
8provided in Section 3-806.3, an owner of a boat trailer
9capable of carrying a gross weight between 3,000 to 6,000
10pounds shall pay an annual registration fee of $60 to the
11Secretary of State. Of the fees collected under this Section,
12$1 of the fees shall be deposited into the Secretary of State
13Special Services Fund and $59 of the fees shall be deposited
14into the Road Fund.
