AN ACT concerning transportation.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by adding
Section 3-814.5 as follows:
(625 ILCS 5/3-814.5 new)
Sec. 3-814.5. Boat trailer registration. Except as
provided in Section 3-806.3, an owner of a boat trailer
capable of carrying a gross weight between 3,000 to 6,000
pounds shall pay an annual registration fee of $60 to the
Secretary of State. Of the fees collected under this Section,
$1 of the fees shall be deposited into the Secretary of State
Special Services Fund and $59 of the fees shall be deposited
into the Road Fund.
