Bill Title: Amends the Wildlife Code. Provides that notwithstanding any provision of the Code, each opening weekend for every hunting season established by the Department of Natural Resources shall be at least 4 days long. Effective immediately.

1 | AN ACT concerning wildlife.

2 | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

3 | represented in the General Assembly:

4 | Section 5. The Wildlife Code is amended by adding Section | |||||||||||||||||||
5 | 2.5b as follows:

6 | (520 ILCS 5/2.5b new) | |||||||||||||||||||
7 | Sec. 2.5b. Hunting opening weekend. Notwithstanding any | |||||||||||||||||||
8 | provision of this Code to the contrary, each opening weekend | |||||||||||||||||||
9 | for every hunting season established by the Department shall | |||||||||||||||||||
10 | be at least 4 days long.
