1 AN ACT concerning State government.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The State Commemorative Dates Act is amended by
5adding Section 207 as follows:
6 (5 ILCS 490/207 new)
7 Sec. 207. Child Abuse Prevention Month. The month of April
8of each year is designated as Child Abuse Prevention Month to
9be observed throughout the State to promote the awareness and
10prevention of child abuse in the State.
