AN ACT concerning education.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Sections
10-20.85 and 34-18.82 as follows:
(105 ILCS 5/10-20.85 new)
Sec. 10-20.85. LGBTQIA+ educator training. Each school
board shall provide LGBTQIA+ diversity training for educators
who have not previously received training.

Sec. 34-18.82. LGBTQIA+ educator training. The board shall
provide LGBTQIA+ diversity training for educators who have not
previously received training.
