AN ACT concerning transportation.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Illinois Highway Code is amended by adding
Section 4-221 as follows:
(605 ILCS 5/4-221 new)
Sec. 4-221. Menard County centerline rumble strip pilot
project. The Department of Transportation shall create and
implement a pilot project to construct centerline rumble strips
on all State highways in Menard County that do not have them at
the time of the effective date of this amendatory Act of the
97th General Assembly.
