AN ACT concerning local government.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Public Building Commission Act is amended by
adding Section 14.4 as follows:
(50 ILCS 20/14.4 new)
Sec. 14.4. Use of architect for projects under $200,000.
Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a county or a
county's Commission may enter into a design-build contract that
does not include the services of an architect for projects
under $200,000.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
becoming law.
