Bill Title: Creates the Wireless Telephone Customer Privacy Act. Prohibits the disclosure of customer proprietary network information. Defines terms. Provides exemptions for disclosure pursuant to law. Provides that a violation is a Class 2 felony. Amends the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act. Provides that a violation of the Wireless Telephone Customer Privacy Act is an unlawful practice under the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act.

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2909 as follows:

| 3 | on page 1, by replacing line 13 with "covered"; and
| ||||||
| 4 | on page 2, line 7, after "rule", by inserting ", including, but | ||||||
| 5 | not limited to, 47 U.S.C. 222"; and
| ||||||
| 6 | on page 2, line 16, by replacing "Class 2 felony" with | ||||||
| 7 | "business offense, with a minimum fine of $1,000 per offense | ||||||
| 8 | and a maximum fine of $5,000 per offense".
