1 AN ACT concerning regulation.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Insurance Code is amended by adding
5Section 356z.33 as follows:
6 (215 ILCS 5/356z.33 new)
7 Sec. 356z.33. No pre-approval; life saving treatment.
8Insurance companies under this Act shall not require
9pre-approval or pre-authorization for any treatment determined
10by a physician to be life-saving.
11 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
12becoming law.
