1 AN ACT concerning propane and propane accessories.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Liquefied Petroleum Gas Regulation Act is
5amended by changing Section 4 and by adding Section 5 as
6follows:
7 (430 ILCS 5/4) (from Ch. 96 1/2, par. 5604)
8 Sec. 4. Penalties. Except for a violation of Section 5 of
9this Act, whoever Whoever violates this Act or any of the rules
10and regulations adopted pursuant to the provisions of this Act
11is guilty of a petty offense, and upon conviction thereof shall
12be punishable by a fine of not less than $100 nor more than
13$500 for the first offense and not less than $500 nor more than
14$1,000 for a second or subsequent offense. Each day of
15violation of this Act or the rules and regulations adopted
16pursuant to it shall constitute a separate offense.
