AN ACT concerning propane and propane accessories.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Liquefied Petroleum Gas Regulation Act is
amended by changing Section 4 and by adding Section 5 as
follows:
(430 ILCS 5/4) (from Ch. 96 1/2, par. 5604)
Sec. 4. Penalties. Except for a violation of Section 5 of
this Act, whoever Whoever violates this Act or any of the rules
and regulations adopted pursuant to the provisions of this Act
is guilty of a petty offense, and upon conviction thereof shall
be punishable by a fine of not less than $100 nor more than
$500 for the first offense and not less than $500 nor more than
$1,000 for a second or subsequent offense. Each day of
violation of this Act or the rules and regulations adopted
pursuant to it shall constitute a separate offense.
