AN ACT concerning government.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The State Commemorative Dates Act is amended by
adding Section 125 as follows:
(5 ILCS 490/125 new)
Sec. 125. Domestic Violence Awareness Month. April of each
year is designated as Domestic Violence Awareness Month, to be
observed throughout the State as a month to promote the
awareness and prevention of domestic violence.
