1 AN ACT concerning government.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The State Commemorative Dates Act is amended by
5 adding Section 125 as follows:
6 (5 ILCS 490/125 new)
7 Sec. 125. Domestic Violence Awareness Month. April of each
8 year is designated as Domestic Violence Awareness Month, to be
9 observed throughout the State as a month to promote the
10 awareness and prevention of domestic violence.
