Amends the Food Handling Regulation Enforcement Act. Requires all food service establishments using latex gloves in handling or preparing food to display an allergenic notice.

1 AN ACT concerning health.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Food Handling Regulation Enforcement Act is
5amended by adding Section 3.08 as follows:
6 (410 ILCS 625/3.08 new)
7 Sec. 3.08. Latex glove notice. A food service establishment
8shall not use latex gloves in handling or preparing food unless
9the establishment prominently displays a notice bearing the
10following message: "Allergy Warning: This food service
11establishment uses latex gloves in handling and preparing
12food.".
