AN ACT making appropriations.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

. . ARTICLE 1

Section 5. In addition to any amounts heretofore appropriated, the following named amounts, or so much thereof as may be necessary, respectively, are appropriated to the Department of Healthcare and Family Services for medical assistance:

FOR MEDICAL ASSISTANCE UNDER THE ILLINOIS PUBLIC AID CODE,

THE CHILDREN'S HEALTH INSURANCE PROGRAM ACT, AND

THE COVERING ALL KIDS HEALTH INSURANCE ACT

Payable from General Revenue Fund:

For Physicians............................... 865,814,400

For Dentists................................. 224,738,300

For Optometrists.............................. 30,451,300

For Podiatrists................................ 5,656,000

For Chiropractors.............................. 1,390,000

For Hospital In-Patient, Disproportionate

Share and Ambulatory Care................. 2,531,282,300

For federally defined Institutions for

Mental Diseases............................. 145,298,800

For Supportive Living Facilities............. 128,682,300

For all other Skilled, Intermediate, and

Other Related Long Term Care Services....... 787,949,900

Total $4,721,263,300

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2009.
