Bill Title: Amends the Department of Professional Regulation Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that whenever the Department issues a copy of a license or certificate and the holder of the license or certificate is required to display it in his or her place of business, the Department shall provide a license or certificate that is printed without including the home address of the licensee or certificate holder.

AN ACT concerning State government.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Department of Professional Regulation Law of
the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by adding
Section 2105-45 as follows:

Sec. 2105-45. Licenses and certificates for display.
Starting on the effective date of this amendatory Act of the
98th General Assembly, whenever the Department issues a license
or certificate and the holder of the license or certificate is
required to display it in his or her place of business, the
Department shall provide a license or certificate that is
printed without including the address of the licensee or
certificate holder on the face of the license. Nothing in this
Section affects any duty to display licenses or certificates in
the place of business.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect January
1, 2014.
