AN ACT concerning civil law.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Innkeepers Lien Act is amended by changing
Section 48 as follows:
(770 ILCS 40/48) (from Ch. 82, par. 57)
Sec. 48. Hotel, inn and and boarding house keepers shall
have a lien upon the baggage and other valuables of their
guests or boarders brought into such hotel, inn or boarding
house by such guests or boarders, for the proper charges due
from such guests or boarders for their accommodations, board
and lodgings and such extras as are furnished at their request.
