1 AN ACT concerning civil law.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Cannabis and Controlled Substances Tort
5Claims Act is amended by changing Section 7 as follows:
6 (740 ILCS 20/7) (from Ch. 70, par. 907)
7 Sec. 7. The The prosecuting attorney of any government or
8governmental subdivision or agency may move for a stay of any
9proceeding brought under this Act, to include all discovery,
10pending the completion of an investigation or prosecution of a
11case related to the subject matter of a suit brought under this
12Act.
