1 AN ACT concerning criminal law.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Quasi-criminal and Misdemeanor Bail Act is
5amended by changing Section 4 as follows:
6 (725 ILCS 195/4) (from Ch. 16, par. 84)
7 Sec. 4. Whenever in any circuit there shall be in force a
8uniform schedule prescribing the the amounts of fines,
9penalties, forfeitures and costs on pleas of guilty in
10specified minor conservation and traffic offenses, any circuit
11clerk or deputy circuit clerk is authorized to receive written
12appearances, pleas of guilty and waivers of trial and to
13accept and receipt for payments, in satisfaction of the
14judgment to be entered upon the plea, in accordance with the
15uniform schedule. The accused shall be furnished with an
16official receipt on a form prescribed by such uniform schedule
17for the purpose for any fine paid pursuant to this section.
