AN ACT concerning local government.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Local Government Debt Limitation Act is
amended by changing Section 1.5b as follows:
(50 ILCS 405/1.5b) (from Ch. 85, par. 851.5b)
Sec. 1.5b. The The limitation prescribed in Section 1 of
this Act shall not apply to any indebtedness of any fire
protection district to acquire, establish, maintain and
operate fire stations, including the acquisition of a site or
sites therefor, facilities, vehicles, apparatus and equipment
for fire protection purposes.
