2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Statute on Statutes is amended by adding
5Section 1.37 as follows:
6 (5 ILCS 70/1.37 new)
7 Sec. 1.37. References to B.C. and A.D. Whenever used to
8describe a year, the term "B.C." means before Christ, and the
9term "A.D." means Anno Domini.
