1 | AN ACT concerning business.

2 | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, | |||||||||||||||||||
3 | represented in the General Assembly:

4 | Section 5. The Promissory Note and Bank Holiday Act is | |||||||||||||||||||
5 | amended by changing Section 3 as follows:

All promissory notes, bonds, due bills and

agrees to pay any sum of money or articles of | |||||||||||||||||||
11 | personal property,
or any sum of money in personal property, | |||||||||||||||||||
12 | or acknowledges any
sum of money or article of personal | |||||||||||||||||||
13 | property to be due to any
other person, shall be taken to be | |||||||||||||||||||
14 | due and payable, and the sum
of money or article of personal | |||||||||||||||||||
15 | property therein mentioned shall,
by virtue thereof, be due | |||||||||||||||||||
