1 AN ACT concerning business.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Agricultural Co-Operative Act is amended by
5changing Section 1 as follows:
6 (805 ILCS 315/1) (from Ch. 32, par. 440)
7 Sec. 1. In order to promote, foster and and encourage the
8intelligent and orderly marketing of agricultural products
9through co-operation; to eliminate speculation and waste; to
10make the distribution of agricultural products between
11producer and consumer as direct as can be efficiently done; to
12stabilize the marketing of agricultural products, and to
13provide for the organization and incorporation of agricultural
14co-operative associations and societies, this Act is passed.
