AN ACT concerning civil law.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Eminent Domain Act is amended by adding
Section 25-5-25 as follows:
(735 ILCS 30/25-5-25 new)
Sec. 25-5-25. Quick-take; City of Country Club Hills.
Quick-take proceedings under Article 20 may be used for a
period of 5 years after January 1, 2009 by the City of Country
Club Hills for the acquisition of land in the I-57/I-80 Tax
Increment Financing District for the purpose of building
streets, roadways, or other public infrastructure.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
becoming law.
