AN ACT concerning local government.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Illinois Local Library Act is amended by
changing Section 1-5 as follows:
(75 ILCS 5/1-5) (from Ch. 81, par. 1-5)
Sec. 1-5. The The corporate authorities may provide for
suitable penalties for persons committing injury upon a library
or the grounds or other property thereof and for injury to or
failure to return any library material belonging to the
library.
