| 1 | AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 4039 | ||||||
| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 4039 by replacing | ||||||
| 3 | line 25 on page 409 through line 9 on page 410 with the | ||||||
| 4 | following: | ||||||
| 5 | "(e-5) The Department of Corrections and the Department | ||||||
| 6 | shall jointly develop activities to support recruitment of | ||||||
| 7 | eligible candidates to the Illinois Climate Works | ||||||
| 8 | Preapprenticeship Program, consistent with Section 5-8A-4.2 of | ||||||
| 9 | the Unified Code of Corrections. These activities shall | ||||||
| 10 | include providing information on the community-based program | ||||||
| 11 | provider serving the area in which the individual preparing | ||||||
| 12 | for release is expected to reside and making available a | ||||||
| 13 | process through which an individual may choose to consent to | ||||||
| 14 | be contacted by that provider.". | ||||||
