| 1 | AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 3341

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3341 on page 1, by | ||||||
| 3 | replacing lines 10 through 17 with the following:

| 4 | "elementary school districts shall form new school districts | ||||||
| 5 | but only with other elementary school districts and high school | ||||||
| 6 | districts shall form new school districts but only with other | ||||||
| 7 | high school districts, notwithstanding any referendum | ||||||
| 8 | requirements or any other laws to the contrary. The State Board | ||||||
| 9 | of Education shall facilitate the creation of the new school | ||||||
| 10 | districts by providing".
